This fight pretty much went the same way. I was taken down in the first few seconds of the fight. The only difference was that I finished the fight by an armbar on the bottom as opposed to a shoulder lock.

This fight was my first MMA fight that went to a decision. The reason being was that I fought almost the entire fight with a fractured shoulder. It was broken in the first few seconds from a jumping side/front kick by Williams. I almost quit because of the pain, but I was thinking, "What the hell? Why not keep going?"

This fight had a lot of significance to it. It was my very first fight at Wild Bill's in Duluth, GA. Wild Bill's has hosted some of the biggest MMA matches in the state of Georgia. Also, this was the fight where I got taken down for the very first time.

This fight didn't last very long. The celebration was longer than the fight. I figured since I was fighting on ESPN Friday Night Fights, I might as well make the most out of my 15 seconds of fame. My celebration antics got me on Sportscenter.

This was my only fight in the heavyweight division. Baki Zymberi was an amateur champion in Kosovo. He sported a 20 pound weight advantage over me.

This was actually the 2nd Hayastan Grappling Tournament in 2004. Earlier in the year, I finished 3rd. This tournament took place on October 2004. I took first place in this tournament.
